Summary (from Goodreads):

Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her.

Worse, Meghan’s own fey powers have been cut off. She’s stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can’t help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

My review:

I love the second book! In fact, I love it more than the first one. In this book, Puck confessed to Meghan. I love how he is such a sweetheart and still as funny as he was in Iron King. He has always been willing to help her in whatever way he can. He is just so sweet. But still, I’m in team Ash. Hell yeah, Team Ash! I love how I imagine him to be handsome! I wish he is real LOL Ash also confessed at the end of the book and Oh My God! He abandoned everything and was banished to the mortal world where he has no one and nothing, not a single family member, not a single penny, no house, nothing. Yet, he gave it all up for Meghan. How sweet can a guy be, yeah? Ash is truly in love with her and I hope they don’t get separated. I love him LOL

Well, Meghan is still like her old self. Stubborn and full of determination. She’s so nice and she’s willing to do everything for her family, friends and loved one. I felt sad for her when she had her heart broken by Ash. It was a hard thing for her but she still wanted him and saved him from Virus’ stupid Iron thingies. I love how she and Ash is in love with each other and how they are willing to fight everyone just to be with each other. They somehow remind me of Romeo and Juliet. Forbidden love yet they don’t give a damn about the others. Love them!

And Leanansidhe, the Queen of Exiles, is so nice to help them out in searching the scepter, in letting them stay at her home in the middle of Nevernever and the Mortal world and even for shopping for Meghan. I like her character, no wonder Queen Titania of the Seelie court envies her. She’s pretty and powerful. What’s not to get jealous about, yeah?

And Grimalkin, he never fails to amaze me. He’s always full of surprises. I like how is seems to be impassive about the things that are happening around him yet he always help. And yes, I mean always. He’s always with them in every journey, without him they’ll never survive. Yes, maybe he leaves when the fighting starts but he’s a cat, he can’t fight, they should understand. And he still comes back with a solution or a trod for them to escape and go through. He’s so helpful. Oh, I love him too.

And Iron horse. OMYGODDD! I felt sad when he died. He was so loyal to Meghan and even though he was enemy, he swore to protect her with his life and he did. It was so dramatic but I felt his loss. I also like his character I didn’t expect him to just die. I thought he’ll survive. But anyways, I guess one should die to make everything possible.

And overall, I love the book! Yes, I did say, I love them all, all the characters! The love story, the rivalry, the courts, the odds, everything! I love how it ended. So sweet. I can’t wait to read Iron Queen!
