Summary (from Goodreads):
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They’ve overcome the secrets riddled in Patch’s dark past…bridged two irreconcilable worlds…faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust…and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they’ve worked for—and their love—forever.
Okay, SILENCE IS THE GREATEST AMONG THE THREE BOOKS. I SWEAR! Here, Patch and Nora didn’t fight like they did in Crescendo. They trust each other and work their way out together. The best team work ever! I love how Patch changed his name back to his real name: JEV. It was like, he wants to change everything and keep everything away from Nora to keep her safe but still she feels his presence and is just being drawn to him more. And oh, I knew Jev was Patch right from the start because it was mentioned in Crescendo, yeah? Before the book ended, Nora got her ring from her father and Patch engraved their names on it: NORA and JEV.
Oh God. Patch never fails to let me imagine his Black, sexy eyes and his hot body. Every time he was described I smile and get this particular picture n mind who I assume was my version of Patch. If only I could draw well and share him to you guys, you would have drooled. He is THAT hot! Okay, enough said, I might get carried away and not stop.
And oh, I can’t stop thinking about Patch’s chamber, his house, his secret loom. The way it was described, it seems to have given you full-time privacy and no one has ever gotten inside. Only few angels, like Patch. I want to go there too! LOL His silk bed sheets and how amazing Nora told us his mattress was LOL it was some kind of a dreamland, I guess.
Anyway, I’m glad Hank Millar, Barnabas, died. He deserves to go to hell. Poor Nora, getting her memories erased is not a good idea. But at least she got it back, the same time she got Patch back. Hank is evil for using her mom. I mean, he loved her but he’s willing to sacrifice her for the sake of his race? WTF, right? He deserved to die, just like Chauncey. Wow, I’m amazed with Nora, she killed them both just for Patch. True love never fails to show up when the one you love is in danger, I must say.
So yeah, I love how there’s more of Scott in this book. I like him. I imagine him hot too, well, maybe not as hot as Patch but hot enough. He’s humor is cute and naughty. I like that. But I guess he’s much of a coward. He keeps on running and hiding. Although, I understand, he’s scared of the Black Hand. He might torture him and he might be as good as dead if ever he was caught. So yeah, I still like him and I wish to read more of him at the next book.
THAT’S RIGHT, YOU READ IT RIGHT! There’s gonna be a fourth book and I’ll be waiting to get my hands on that one. I’m excited to read where this war will bring Nora and Patch. Will they end up being together? Or will they be enemies? Will there be a mixup? What? I’m excited. I wanna cry thinking that I have to wait for another year. It’s frustrating to wait. Anyway, I might divert my attention to other books, Harry Potter maybe? Haven’t read those babies and I’m dying to read each book. So till next review! Toodles!
