Summary (from Goodreads):

For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She’s never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her…until Patch comes along.
With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora’s not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can’t decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel.

For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen – and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

My Review:

Ha! For the second time in my life, I have read Hush hush! Of course, as usual, it didn’t disappoint me. It still is so good. I missed Patch. I missed his sexy punch lines. His smirks and smile (in my mind) LOL. I miss every little description of him. He is one of the best bad-boy-turned-good-boy-because-of-a-girl type. He never fails to give a smile on my face whenever I read his lines. He’s so adorable, so cute and just so hot! He’s irresistible. For God’s sake! Why would heaven want to kick someone as gorgeous as him at the first place? They could use a handsome face. LOL

Okay, enough about Patch. I, obviously, am drawn to him. He’s the best character in this book, I must say! Ha! And Nora here, is a bit annoying for having second thoughts about Patch. Well, she has every reason to not trust him but when she knew that Patch had spared her life, she shouldn’t have second thoughts. It was obvious that he likes her, or rather, loves her! Yeah? You feel me guys? Lol but more or less, I liked Nora. She is kinda brave and I liked her curiosity. She never fails to ask someone what was in her mind. She should get a job as a detective or a police woman LOL

And Vee, gosh, she’s kind of annoying, don’t you think? She rants all the time and she seems a little bit clingy to guys. A flirt. She prefers to be with Elliot and Jules. Well, she didn’t really prefer but she knew that Nora wouldn’t come with them so yeah, she should at least consider taking the bus home and just stay there rather than still going out with the creepy creatures. Anyway, she didn’t know who they were but if I was in her case, I would sit at home, knowing that Nora wouldn’t come with us.

The story is pretty cool. I love every book about Angels. I love Young Adult books, maybe that’s why I enjoyed every page of Hush hush. I love the angel’s powers like planting something in your head and you think it’s for real. I’d like to have that power. And I love how Patch brings Nora into an arcade. Not a typical dating place but hey, Bo’s arcade is somehow a special place to Patch because he spends most of his time there and he wins most of his stuffs and money there. LOL He’s so dreamy.

I couldn’t wait to read Crescendo again. See the effect? I have read these two books yet I still get excited about it. Oh my, I’m addicted to it. I’ll move on with book two. A Goodreads review will follow up as well. And oh, I’ll be moving on to Silence in a couple of days! Gosssssh! This I really can’t wait. This would be the first time I’ll be reading it and so I have no idea wha it would be like. Ciao!
